Welcome to St Erth Primary School

A place where children grow, shine and feel part of something special.

St Erth is a small village school with a big heart, proudly rooted in the wonderful community of St Erth Parish. We care deeply about the wellbeing of every child and the community they belong to. When children feel happy, safe and valued, they thrive… and that’s exactly what we’re here for.

Our top priority is the wellbeing of the children in our care. We believe that when children feel confident, supported and joyful, learning happens naturally. That’s why we create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where every child knows they matter.

We design exciting learning experiences, indoors, outdoors and online so that children stay curious, motivated and eager to discover the world. From exploring our beautiful local landscape to taking part in residential trips and rich, diverse topics, our curriculum is built to broaden horizons while celebrating our unique Cornish setting.

By the time they leave us, we want every child to be:

    • Confident
    • Aspirational
    • Self‑aware
    • Ready for whatever life brings, academically, socially and emotionally.

Strong, supportive relationships are the foundation of great learning and positive behaviour. Our staff take time to get to know every child as an individual, helping them feel secure, understood and valued.

We believe that children flourish when school and families work closely together. Our team is highly visible, always approachable and ready to talk about your child’s progress, wellbeing and achievements. We ask parents to join us as partners, attending parents’ evenings, chatting about school at home and sharing in the joy of learning.

St Erth School is more than a place of learning, it’s a vibrant, caring community where children, families and staff all play an important part. We hope you enjoy exploring our website and discovering what makes our school such a special place to grow.

If you’d like to know more, we’d love to hear from you. Please feel free to telephone the office and book in a tour.
