Residential Visits

Our residential visits include Camp Kernow, an education centre near Truro. Here our Year 2 children spend an extended day finishing off with a delicious BBQ. For Years 3 and 4 the stay is overnight and a fun packed 2 days! The visit gives the pupils practical, first hand experience of sustainable living techniques and renewable energy technology. Children are immersed in a world where renewable energy, waste reduction and energy conservation are a way of life, which they can discover, explore and experience in a fun and challenging environment. During the visits, the children will camp, undertake den building, campfire cooking and foraging. End the days with a barbecue, melting marshmallows and watching the stars!
On alternative years, Godrevy class ( years 5 and 6) can experience an action packed three, unforgettable days in London. Not only do we visit the Houses of Parliament, take part in a making laws workshop, see a West End show, go on the London Eye, a river cruise, visit the National History Museum, go 10 pin bowling, experience a guided tour of all the sites, enjoy a meal at Planet Hollywood - Phew! Everyone always has a great time, visiting all the sites.
Or five days of adventure at Okehampton Manor House activity and development centre in St Issy. Where the children experience rock climbing, canoeing,  moorland exploration and other outdoor pursuits led by fully qualified and experienced instructors.
